GAD program of HANDS works as cross cutting theme to strengthen and empower communities to become socially and economically self-reliant.

GAD program of HANDS had identified twelve from Regional offices and trained them as gender focal person at their region, Focal person of GAD over all responsible of all activities of GAD and . At head office level seven (7) trainings have been conducted to strengthen knowledge, skills and capacity of focal persons. Their major responsibilities are to promote Gender equity and equality in all projects, to enhance understanding about
GAD issues of all region office staff , may act as a trainer and facilitate staff in GAD issues.
