About HANDS
 
HANDS is a non-profitable registered organization working since 1979 with a mission to improve primary and secondary health facilities, quality of education and to alleviate poverty through capacity building. HANDS is intervening in public and private sectors and in benefiting more than 2 million population of 5000 villages in districts Hyderabad, Sanghar, Badin, Thatta and Bin Qasim Town, Karachi. HANDS regional offices in these districts are not only resource centers for different non profit, & private organizations but also perform as facilitators for different departments of the district government.

Working Methodology
 
HANDS with community participatory approach is working in five districts of Sindh with more than 1200 COs (Men and Women) through health advocacy and networking programs. The methodology is to identify, train, develop leadership, facilitate and empower the community to bring about meaning change.
